All New Game Plus Unlockables
Mega and Mega+ Difficulty Options
Clearing the main story unlocks two new difficulty options: Mega and Mega+. If you are aiming to obtain all trophies in the game, you need to clear the main story again at Mega+ difficulty.
Difficulty Setting Differences
Title Screen Changes After Clearing the Game
The sequence in the title screen will change upon clearing the game. It shows the player character Agent, Inori, and Aegiomon overlooking an area.
Load Cleared Data Before the Final Boss
When you load your save data that has finished the game, you will resume from the last checkpoint before the final boss. If you want to complete optional content such as side missions, you can load this save data before starting New Game Plus.
Unlock the Olympos XII Side Quest
Loading your save data that has cleared the game unlocks a side mission where you challenge the Olympos XII in a fight. You can find the location of the side quest in Akihabara: A Certain Alley.
When you complete the side quest, you will receive an item called Fragment Memory: Jupitermon. Use it to craft the Sky God's Thunderbolt, a powerful equipment that has +500 ATK and +30% CRT Rate. It also nullifies all Status Abnormalities and increases Electricity resistance, making it the strongest equipment available.

Digimon and Agent Stats Carry Over
All features related to your Digimon and Agent are carried over, including your Digimon, Scan Rate of Digimon, Anomaly Points, Agent Skills, items, money, and Digimon Cards.
Mission Progress Does Not Carry Over
Your progress in the main quest and side quests do not carry over when you start the game in New Game Plus. There is no main mission selector and you have to start from the first mission, ADAMAS.
How to Unlock New Game Plus
Finish the Game Once
You unlock New Game Plus for Digimon Story: Time Stranger when you complete the main story for the first time.
