Gather Critical Points (CP) to Use Cross Arts

Cross Arts are used by pressing RT/R2 when the Critical Points (CP) gauge is full. Using Cross Arts does not consume your turn, so it's generally recommended to use it as soon as your CP gauge is charged.

Critical Points accumulate automatically through actions such as dealing damage and healing. You’ll generate more Critical Points by exploiting an enemy’s weakness.

The Cross Arts command will automatically unlock during the boss fight with Kuwagamon in the Signs of an Anomaly main quest. A menu will pop-up to show a tutorial on how to use and activate Cross Arts in battle.
