Throne of the Underworld Guide

Talk to Gekomon
Leave Central Town and travel to the Dark Field. In the starting area, talk to Gekomon, who will help you jump across the floating platforms through teleportation.

To summon Gekomon, find a stump with the Digimon icon above it.

Enter Plutomon
Entering the Dark Castle, continue calling on Gekomon to move across platforms until you reach the entrance to Plutomon's domain.

Fight ZombiePlutomon
In the castle, fight ZombiePlutomon with Gekomon by your side.
Note: At the end of the battle, pick the first dialogue prompt to teleport out of the way of ZombiePlutomon's attack.
▶︎ How to Beat ZombiePlutomon

Find Gekomon Again
After the battle, you will be sent to the In-Between Theater before returning to the starting area of the Dark Field. Find Gekomon again and fight it. Afterwards, traverse the area again to reach Plutomon's castle.

Get Past the Guardian
At Plutomon's castle, pick the second dialogue option to teleport past the guardian and find Plutomon ahead.

Report Back to Merukimon
After a series of cutscenes, leave the In-Between Theater to find yourself back in Central Town. Report back to Merukimon in the Warrior's Watering Hole.

Use Vaccine-type Digimon

ZombiePlutomon is weak to Vaccine-type Digimon and Light elemental damage. Assemble your Digimon accordingly to gain the upperhand fighting it.

Equip an AoE Cross Art

Because ZombiePlutomon exposes four body parts when charging up its Hell Slicer move, it is easier to destroy all of them at once with an AoE Cross Art like Cross Art: Burst.

Do Not Heal Your Team

Throughout the fight, ZombiePlutomon will deduct your maximum HP with Reaper's Mist, which reduces your HP even further if you heal your Digimon. Endure through the fight while being cautious of the boss' attacks.
