Truth Born from an Egg Guide
1 In the Misono home, exit the attic to trigger a cutscene in the living room. Minervamon will join your team.

To Marunonaka Train Platform
Travel to Higashi-Shinjuku: Vision Square and descend into the subway to enter the Marunonaka Line: Shinjuku Station. Take the stairs in front of the ticket gate and head to the objective marker on the train platform.

To Shinjuku Underground Reservoir
Open the gate to the train tracks. Take a left into a room.

Shinjuku Underground Reservoir
In the Shinjuku Underground Reservoir, descend down the ladder and go to an area full of Goblimon.

DigiAttack Locked Door
Continue running straight until you reach the stairs at the top-left section of the map. The door there will be locked. Use DigiAttack to try breaking it open. When that fails, Minervamon will successfully break it. Go deeper into the reservoir.

In-Between Theater on the Way to Egg
Go down the steps and turn right to approach the cracked egg on the grass. Optionally, you may visit the In-Between Theater through the rift before doing this.

Defeat Titamon
Suddenly, Titamon will appear. Note that the Titamon boss fight is scripted so it does not matter if you win or lose. However, it is recommended to lose the fight so as to avoid wasting items and to progress the questline more quickly.

Win or lose to Titamon to finish the mission.

Use Fire and Light Attacks

As a Virus type, Titamon is weak to Vaccine Digimon. Assemble your team according to this attribute and take advantage of Titamon's weakness to Fire and Light damage as well.

Equip Offensive or Defensive Cross Arts

You will want to focus on dealing as much damage to Titamon, so consider equipping an offensive ability like Cross Art: Strike to take out some of Titamon's HP.

Alternatively, you can play defensively by equipping Cross Art: Field to protect your team from Titamon's Soul Core Attack.

Use Buffs and Debuffs

Consider assembling a team of Digimon with buff and debuff capabilities to weaken Titamon or reduce the effectiveness of its attacks.

Play Your Moves Carefully

As Titamon is a challenging boss at this stage, you will have to consider playing carefully to win the battle. Prepare Recovery items in advance to heal your Digimon and restore their SP. It is also helpful to assemble your team with a Digimon that can heal its teammates.

Also remember to guard against Titamon's powerful moves, especially its Soul Core Attack.
