What Does Attack (ATK) Do?

Increases Physical Damage of Your Digimon

Attack (ATK) stat affects how much physical damage your Digimon can do when attacking an enemy Digimon in battle.

Physical Damage Gets Reduced by Defense (DEF)

The physical damage that your Digimon deals will be reduced based on the enemy Digimon's Defense (DEF) stat. You can use Attachment Skills, such as Guard Bind, to reduce the enemy's (DEF) stat for a number of turns.

What Does Defense (DEF) Do?

Does Not Increase Magic Attacks

Note that the ATK stat does not increase the damage of magic-based attacks of your Digimon. If you want to increase a Digimon's magic attack, raise the Intelligence (INT) stat instead.
