Wrath of the Druids Release Date and New Content

Wrath of the Druids Release Date

The Wrath of the Druids DLC is slated to release this coming May 13, with the original release date of April 29 pushed back to "deliver a more refined experience" for players.

It is unknown if the later relase date will affect the release of the Siege of Paris DLC, which is also slated for a Summer 2021 release.

Currently, the Wrath of the Druids DLC was slated to come out at 10PM AEST but it seems to be running late.

Wrath of the Druids DLC Information

The Wrath of the Druids is one of two story DLCs planned for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. It will see you travelling to new lands and fighting against new foes as you explore an expansion to the game's world while learning more about Celtic and Druid culture.

New Location

Set in Ireland, the neighboring country and landmass next to where the base game's England is set in, Wrath of the Druids will see you taking on new forts – Ringforts – as you progress through the expansion. The DLC also will let you affect the trading system of Dublin, using a unique system of Trade Posts that generate special resources over time and fulfilling trade requests that require these resources for certain rewards.

New Enemies

A new organization, similar to The Order of the Ancients, Wrath of the Druids will see you fighting a new group called the Children of Danu – the major enemy for the DLC.

Similar to how you can target, identify, and eventually eliminate Order members in the base game, the DLC will allow you to do the same against the members of this cult.

New Gear

There's a plethora of new gear, two armor sets found in the world and a handful found through Dublin's trading system. Additionally, it offers a new type of weapon, the Sickle, and a new legendary weapon, the Gae Bolg.
