The quest starts off in the town of Chippenham, in England. You play as Brother Aelric, a monk.

Quest Walkthrough

Follow Guthrum		 Once you have control, follow Guthrum until you reach the church and trigger a cutscene.

Talk to witnesses		 Use Odin's Sight to easily see where the witnesses are. Speak to all 4 witnesses.

Investigate the 1st house		 You need to investigate two houses. For the nearest house objective, you need to go in by the window and interact with the floor.

Investigate the 2nd house		 For the 2nd house, go south and climb up its wall and enter in through the gap. Head deeper into the house until you see the relic and gold on the floor.

Report to Guthrum		 Go to the longhouse and report to Guthrum. Afterwards, you will need to return to your cell and then, time will pass.
Your choice on whether to sell out Bjorn will not affect the ending of this quest.

Carry the relic to Guthrum		 Guthrum will call for you in the next day through Bjorn. Carry the relic and follow Bjorn to the longhouse where a dialogue with Guthrum awaits.

Carry the relic to the city gate		 Carry the relic again and head southeast to where a soldier near 2 horses await. You'll put down the relic once you interact with him to start a dialogue.

Ride to Wincestre		 Follow behind the soldier to Wincestre. Once the soldier unmounts, pick the relic up and head east into the church. Then, put the relic down to talk with King Aelfred.

A Barter for Peace End		 Once you have control of Aelric again, follow behind Guthrum and Aelfred. Take your seat to trigger the next cutscene. The quest ends afterwards.
You are rewarded the Early Medieval Tattoo Set for your troubles.
