1. Find The Caretaker of Books
The Caretaker of Books is located in the southern corner of the House of Wisdom interior. To get there, Basim must return to the House of Wisdom and walk into the inner courtyard where Basim originally meets Fazil.
From there, face the southwestern exit of the House of Wisdom and climb the wooden scaffolding on the right side to get onto the balcony and into the interior through an open window.
Once inside the second floor, travel towards the southern corner of the building and use Eagle Vision to spot the Caretaker of Books.
Examine the area around the Caretaker to locate Basim's next clue, which points him towards the Scriptorium.
2. Explore The Scriptorium
The Scriptorium is located directly east of the House of Wisdom, across the river.
Note that the Scriptorium is a Restricted Area, so enemies here are hostile towards Basim.
Step 1: Eliminate The Marksman
Once inside the Scriptorium, keep a lookout for a special enemy known as a Marksman. The presence of this enemy prevents Basim from using Enkidu, so eliminate him to make locating your objectives much easier.
Step 2: Locate The Guard Captain
Part of the Guard Captain's patrolling route includes the balcony below the Marksman's lookout. Use Enkidu or Eagle Vision to locate the Guard Captain, as he has the keys required to free Hunayn.
Step 3: Free The Prisoner
After acquiring the keys from the Guard Captain, head towards Hunayn and unlock the door barring Basim's entry into his quarters.
3. Search Hunayn The Translator's Quarters
Use Eagle Vision to locate 3 clues in Hunayn's Quarters that Basim must examine to progress the mission. There are 2 on the ground floor; a letter and the book Hunayn was translating.
The final clue is another letter on the 2nd floor. After examining all the clues, follow the objective marker to the Scholar's Estate.
4. Find Proof of Zahra's Involvement Within The Order
The Scholar's Estate is located in the southern section of the Suburb of Kahtabah. Follow the objective marker or fast-travel to either the Abbasiyah Bureau or the nearby Synchronization Point to get there quicker.
Again, there are 3 clues to examine within the Scholar's Estate before the mission can progress.
Clue 1: Training Dummy
Stand near the fountain in the estate courtyard and use Eagle Vision to spot the training dummy.
Clue 2: A Book of Poetry
Located on the 2nd floor of the main house, break a wooden lattice-covered window to gain access to the room this clue is in.
Note that there are other windows covered by a wooden lattice, so use Eagle Vision and look for the one highlighted in orange instead of the usual red.
Clue 3: Incriminating Letter
After examining the Book of Poetry, head down the stairs to find this clue sitting on a table.
5. Assassinate Zahra The Corrupt Scholar
Head to the rooftops where the objective marker leads Basim and wait until Zahra returns to her estate.
Quick Assassination
Once the cutscene ends, cross the nearby rope and walk along the roof to get into position to assassinate Zahra.
Players who are not interested in listening to Zahra's dialogue should assassinate her immediately because she will soon stand up and roam around the estate, making her harder to dispatch.
6. Leave The Scholar's Estate
Once Zahra has been eliminated, leave the Scholar's Estate to complete the mission.
