You can purchase maps from Cartographers to reveal the locations of Gear Chests in the area.

Both upgrade schematics of this sword can be obtained from either of the two locations where you did not get the sword.
As an example, if you found the Abbasid Knight Sword in the Scholar’s Estate, you can find its Upgrade Schematics in the gear chests located in the Scriptorium or in the House of Wisdom.
