Once you've filled your Notoriety gauge, your wanted posters will be up and placed around Baghdad. This causes civilians to recognize you and call guards.
Removing these wanted posters will decrease your notoriety and reduce the risk of being spotted. Wanted posters are placed on the minimap for you to easily locate.
You can use a Power Favor Token to bribe the Munadi to lower your notoriety. Make sure you're not currently engaged in combat to interact with them freely.
When you reach level three notoriety, eliminating the Shakiriyya can reduce your notoriety gauge.
This method is more challenging due to the Shakiriyya's toughness and agility, which can pose a significant threat if underestimated.
The fastest way to increase notoriety is to commit illegal actions in front of civilians and guards.
These include hijacking someone else's horse or camel, looting chests, hurting civilians, fighting guards in combat and assassinating guards.

There are three levels of notoriety, which increases the danger as your meter increases.
Guards and civilians are more alert and will keep an eye out for you. Civilians may recognize you and report you to the guards.
Wanted posters will also appear throughout the area.
Archers patrol the rooftops and support their allied foot soldiers in combat by raining down arrows on you. While their arrows can be easily deflected, it can be a challenge if you are outnumbered by more guards.
In addition, these archers will shoot down Enkidu if you deploy him to survey the area.
An elite soldier called Shakiriyya will actively hunt you down while your notoriety gauge is full. These mercenaries are agile and strong, and can heal themselves during combat.
