AC Mirage Combat Guide

Parry an Enemy's Attack at the Right Time

Assassin
Successfully parrying an enemy at the right time gives you the option to instantly kill them or kick back if you have unlocked the latter as a skill.

Wait for the enemy to glow before parrying

Assassin
When an enemy is about to attack, they will emit a yellow glow to indicate that this is the right time to parry.

How to Parry Enemy Attacks

Use Tools to Assist in Combat

Assassin

You can use tools such as throwing knives to help you defeat enemies in combat. Other tools such as noisemaker and smoke bombs can be modified into lethal weapons used for combat as well.

How to Escape from Combat

Use a Smoke Bomb

AC Mirage - Smoke Bomb.png

The best way to escape from is to use Smoke Bombs. These tools deploy a thick cloud of smoke that breaks an enemy's line of sight, allowing you to flee from the scene.

How to Use Smoke Bomb

Use Environmental Objects

Assassin

If you do not have any Smoke Bombs, you can use nearby environmental objects to have the enemies lose sight of you.

As shown in the official gameplay walkthrough, Basim pushes over the scaffolding to create a cloud of smoke to get away from the enemies.

Hide in Hiding Spots

Assassin
After breaking the enemy's line of sight, you can safely hide in a hiding spot to become anonymous. These hiding spots include a rooftop garden, a pile of flower petals, tall grass, and more. You can also blend in crowds to avoid detection.

Hiding Spots are highlighted with a white light when using Eagle VIsion.
