The Kidnapped Scholar Walkthrough

The Kidnapped Scholar is a contract mission you can take on in Assassin's Creed Mirage (AC Mirage). Read on for the contract details, how to start, how to rescue the scholar without killing anyone, and the rewards for completing the quest.

How to Start the Kidnapped Scholar

From Contract Boards in Hidden One Bureaus

You can start The Kidnapped Scholar contract mission by accepting the quest from the Contract Board in any Hidden One Bureau.

To access these contract boards, you'll need to finish the Zeroing In Main Quest to unlock them. Upon returning to the Harbiyah Bureau, Abu Jafar will grant you access to the contract boards.

Requires Completion of The Satiric Poet

To unlock The Botanist from the contracts board, you'll need to complete The Satiric Poet contract mission.

Once you complete that quest, you will receive a notification that a new contract is available to start at the Hidden One Bureaus.

Get the Deep Slumber Blowdart Upgrade Head to the Badaraya Sands Camp Put the Guards to Sleep Carry the Scholar Place the Scholar on the Ground

Get the Deep Slumber Blowdart Upgrade

Before heading to the contract location, we recommend unlocking the Blowdart and getting the Deep Slumber upgrade.

This will prevent guards from waking up sleeping guards, which will make fullfilling the contractor request easier.

Blowdart Best Upgrades

Head to the Badaraya Sands Camp

Make your way to the Badaraya Sands Camp located in the western Wilderness. The area is a simple camp with exits on every side, but with guards stationed nearby.

Put the Guards to Sleep

Make your way to the camp, climbing the small rocky cliff, and use the Blowdart to put the guards closest to the exit to sleep. The most important guard you'll need to put to sleep is the one on the watchtower as they are overlooking the area where you'll exit later.

Take Note of the Patrolling Guards

There is an armored guard accompanied by another guard that will circle the camp and will try to wake the guards.

With the Deep Slumber upgrade, the guards will stay asleep, but the armored guard will continue circling the area. Take note of their current location to avoid getting spotted.

Carry the Scholar

Sneak into the center of the camp where the injured scholar is. You'll need to carry him safely out of the camp to complete the quest.

We recommend exiting towards the watchtower side of the camp since the now asleep guard there will not spot you.

Hide in the Bushes

You can sneak and hide in the bushes while carrying the scholar. Make sure to wait for the patrolling guards to leave if they are close to the watchtower side of the camp before heading out in the open.

Place the Scholar on the Ground

Once you leave the Badaraya Sands Camp and are no longer in a restricted area, place the grateful scholar on the ground who will explain that the treasure beneath the sands is actually water. Finish his dialogue to complete the contract mission.

The Kidnapped Scholar Rewards

Rewards	2 Skill Points 2 Scholar Favor Tokens 45 Components
Contractor Request Rewards	2 Scholar Favor Tokens 65 Dirham

Completing the quest rewards 2 Skill Points, 2 Scholar Favor Tokens, and 45 Components.

Successfully completing the optional contractor request will reward you an additional 2 Scholar Favor Tokens and 65 Dirham.
