Distract Enemies

The Noisemaker creates noise wherever you throw it, attracting nearby enemies and diverting their attention. This is a useful strategy for clearing paths blocked by enemies without the need to eliminate them.

Set Enemies on Fire

One of the Noisemaker's upgrades gives it the ability to set enemies on fire when they are caught in the blast radius.

Alternatively, you can throw it near a flaming vase, which will attract nearby enemies and cause the vase to explode in the process.

Terrorize Enemies

The Noisemaker can also be modified to cause terror in enemies caught within the blast radius.

Terrorized enemies will run away from you for a brief moment, providing you with a chance to escape and creating ample distance between you and your pursuers.

Knock Back Enemies

If you find yourself surrounded by too many enemies, the Noisemaker's Shockwave upgrade will knock them back, providing you with an opportunity to break free.

How to Unlock Noisemaker

Talk to Ibn Musa

Tools can be unlocked by interacting Ibn Musa at any Hidden Ones' Bureau.

You'll be able to unlock a tool after finishing the Branching Out mission after assassinating Al-Ghul during the First Order.

The next unlocks are after unlocking Extra Tool Capacity 1, 2, and 3 respectively under the Trickster skills tree.

Noisemaker Best Upgrades

Tier 1 - Loud Fuse

Extra Capacity Increases the ammunition capacity for this tool by 3.	Loud Fuse Increases the distance from which enemies are drawn to the explosion by 5 meters.	Extended Range Increases the distance you can throw this tool by 7 meters.

Among the three tier 1 upgrades, Loud Fuse is the best choice because it makes the Noisemaker loud enough to attract enemies from longer distances.

Tier 2 - Sparks

Fireworks Continuous explosion that draws and holds enemies’ attention for a long time.	Weakness Lowers the defense of enemies caught in the explosion.	Sparks Noisemaker becomes an incendiary device.

Having Sparks gives the Noisemaker some damage, turning it into an incendiary device that sets enemies on fire.

Tier 3 - Shockwave

Terror Targets caught in the explosion panic and run away.	Shockwave Dazes all targets inside the explosion area and breaks cages, vases and fragile walls.

Shockwave is particularly useful when you're surrounded by a group of enemies in a fight. The Noisemaker creates a shockwave that knocks back most enemies, providing you with an opportunity to break free from the entanglement.

Noisemaker All Upgrades

Head over to a Banu Musa brother and give them the required materials to unlock an upgrade tier.

Once the tier has been unlocked, you can choose any upgrade from the tier to set it as active.

Tier 1 Upgrades

You can unlock Tier 1 Upgrades of your Smoke Bomb by spending x15 Steel Ingots, x35 Leather, and x60 Components.

Extra Capacity	Increases the ammunition capacity for this tool by 3.
Loud Fuse	Increases the distance from which enemies are drawn to the explosion by 5 meters.
Extended Range	Increases the distance you can throw this tool by 7 meters.

Tier 2 Upgrades

You can unlock Tier 2 Upgrades of your Smoke Bomb by spending x25 Steel Ingots, x55 Leather, and x90 Components.

Tier 3 Upgrades

You can unlock Tier 3 Upgrades of your Smoke Bomb by spending x40 Steel Ingots, x100 Leather, and x150 Components.
