Put Enemies to Sleep

The main function of the blowdart is to instantly inflict sleep on enemies when hit, allowing you to pass by unnoticed.

This is very useful during combat when you are facing multiple enemies at once. Use the blowdart to hit enemies and put them to sleep, reducing the number of enemies you need to focus on.

Make Targets Attack their Allies

You can choose to modify the blowdart to induce a fit of rage when used against an enemy, causing them to go berserk and attack nearby allies until the effect wears off.

How to Unlock Blowdart

Talk to Ibn Musa

AC Mirage - Ibn Musa

Tools can be unlocked by interacting Ibn Musa at any Hidden Ones' Bureau.

You'll be able to unlock a tool after finishing the Branching Out mission after assassinating Al-Ghul during the First Order.

The next unlocks are after unlocking Extra Tool Capacity 1, 2, and 3 respectively under the Trickster skills tree.

Tier 1 - Extended Range

Increases the ammunition capacity for this tool by 2. 		Assassin Increased Duration
Increases how long the effect of this tool lasts. 		Assassin Extended Range
Increases the effective range of this tool.

Extended Range allows you to put enemies to sleep from a distance, minimizing the risk of engaging in combat since you're quite far from your enemies.

Tier 2 - Cloud Impact

Assassin Cloud Impact
Applies the Blowdart's current effect as an area of effect. 		Assassin Lethal Dose
Targets are poisoned instead of put to sleep. 		Assassin Potency
Target can no longer be awakened by other guards. Enraged targets die after the effect ends.

Cloud Impact causes the blowdart to have an area of effect, affecting multiple enemies rather than a single target. This feature is particularly useful when combined with other effects of the blowdart, such as adding poison or inducing berserk.

Tier 3 - Berserker Dart

Assassin Berserker Dart
Causes the target to go into a fit of rage, attacking anyone nearby. Replaces the sleep effect. 		Assassin Deep Slumber
Damage does not wake the target. Sleep effect lasts indefinitely.

Berserker Dart takes the top spot with its berserk effect, which enrages enemies, causing them to attack nearby allies. When paired with Cloud Impact, you can eliminate enemies without having to directly engage in combat—letting them do the work for you!

Blowdart All Upgrades

Head over to a Banu Musa brother and give them the required materials to unlock an upgrade tier.

Once the tier has been unlocked, you can choose any upgrade from the tier to set it as active.

Tier 1 Upgrades

You can unlock Tier 1 Upgrades of your Smoke Bomb by spending x15 Steel Ingots, x35 Leather, and x60 Components.

Upgrade Effect
Assassin Extra Capacity Increases the ammunition capacity for this tool by 2.
Assassin Increased Duration Increases how long the effect of this tool lasts.
Assassin Extended Range Increases the effective range of this tool.

Tier 2 Upgrades

You can unlock Tier 2 Upgrades of your Smoke Bomb by spending x25 Steel Ingots, x55 Leather, and x90 Components.

Upgrade Effect
Assassin Cloud Impact Applies the Blowdart's current effect as an area of effect.
Assassin Lethal Dose Targets are poisoned instead of put to sleep.
Assassin Potency Target can no longer be awakened by other guards. Enraged targets die after the effect ends.

Tier 3 Upgrades

You can unlock Tier 3 Upgrades of your Smoke Bomb by spending x40 Steel Ingots, x100 Leather, and x150 Components.

Upgrade Effect
Assassin Berserker Dart Causes the target to go into a fit of rage, attacking anyone nearby. Replaces the sleep effect.
Assassin Deep Slumber Damage does not wake the target. Sleep effect lasts indefinitely.
