How to Find Eavesdrop Opportunity

Use Enkidu to Find Eavesdrop Opportunities

Certain story missions require you to find clues to move forward. You can use Enkidu to find the exact spots of these clues, including eavesdropping opportunities. These are displayed with an orange sound wave icon.

How to Eavesdrop

Find the Target to Eavesdrop

Informats or targets that you need to eavesdrop will have an orange glow when using Eagle Vision.

These will also most likely be on high alert or inside a restricted area, so make sure to approach the nearest hiding spot without being detected.

Find a Hiding Spot

You need to find a hiding spot to start eavesdropping on enemies. You can use any hiding spot such as a hay bale, bench, and tall grass as long as it is within range of the eavedrop spot.

You can use Eagle Vision and find the white glowing spots as this indicates a hiding spot.

Once you are in a hiding spot, press the Right Thumbstick to start eavesdropping.

Exiting the Hiding Spot Prematurely Reveals Basim

Make sure to listen to the entire conversation when eavedropping to complete the opportunity. Exiting the hiding spot while the conversation is still ongoing will end prematurely and Basim will most likely be spotted.

If this happens, you can run away until you are hidden and go back to the hiding spot to eavesdrop once more.

What to Do If You Cannot Eavesdrop

Get Close to the Eavesdrop Radius

If you cannot eavesdrop, you need to move close to the yellow radius and hide in a hiding spot.

You can use a combination of Eagle Vision and Photo Mode to see the entire radius of the eavesdrop and the nearby hiding spot.
