Differences Between Difficulty Levels

Easy ・Enemy detection speed and searching time are decreased.
・Pickpocketing is easier.
・Enemy damage and resistances are decreased.
Normal ・The recommended optimal Stealth & Combat experience.
Hard ・Enemy detection speed and searching time are increased.
・ Pickpocketing is harder.
・ Enemy damage and resistances are increased.

Easy Mode Reduces Enemy Detection Speed and Damage

In Easy Mode, stealth aspects such as enemy detection speed and searching time are decreased, allowing you more time to escape from combat. Pickpocketing is also easier.

Enemy damage and resistances are also decreased. This means that you take less damage from enemies and you inflict more damage to them.

Normal Mode Uses Optimal Settings

Normal Mode provides a balanced gameplay that does not sacrifice the combat experience. This is a great choice for players who wish to get a chance to play the game as intended, and to decide whether it is too easy or difficult.

Hard Mode Increases Enemy Damage and Detection Speed

Hard Mode increases the difficulty in both combat and stealth scenarios. This gives you an extra challenge as this makes enemies detect you faster.

This mode also increases an enemy's damage and resistances, making them tougher to defeat in combat.

How to Change Difficulty

Change Difficulty in the Options Menu

Upon booting up Assassin's Creed Mirage, you are given the option to change your settings before starting the game.

Press the Next button to cycle through the other settings until you can find the Combat & Stealth tab. Click the Normal setting to open a dropdown menu that shows all three difficulty modes.

Choose the difficulty mode you prefer and press the Next button to confirm the changes.

Change Difficulty Any Time In-Game

You can change your difficulty any time when you pause the game and select the Options menu.
