Pickpocket and Buy From Traders
The best way to get leather is to pickpocket trinkets from civilians, sell them, and use the Dirham to buy the components.
If the trader doesn't have leather in stock, you need to find another one or wait until it appears again in the inventory.
Spend Merchant Favor Tokens to Reduce Prices
You can use the Merchant Favor Tokens to reduce the prices of all trader's items by 30%. This allows you to purchase leather at a lower price and reduces the grinding needed to farm them.
Loot Token Chests
Token chests have more leather than regular chests and are the best way to obtain additional upgrade materials without spending Dirhams. Unlocking token chests requires you to spend Merchant's Tokens per chest.
Complete Contracts
Some contracts offer leather as rewards, and you can find these contracts on the Contracts board at a Hidden Ones' Bureau.
How to Use Leather
Upgrade Weapons
Leather is used in upgrading your swords and daggers for higher damage and unlock their perks. Visit Blacksmiths to upgrade and change the appearance of your weapons.
Upgrade Outfits
Leather is used to upgrade outfits in your possession. Locate Tailors in the streets of Baghdad to upgrade your outfits and unlock their perks.
