AC Mirage - The Traitor Walkthrough

The Traitor is a contract mission you can take on in Assassin's Creed Mirage (AC Mirage). Read on for the contract details, how to start, how to kill the target with environmental damage, and the rewards for completing the quest.

How to Start the Traitor

From Contract Boards in Hidden One Bureaus

AC Mirage - Contract Missions

You can start The Traitor contract mission by accepting the quest from the Contract Board in any Hidden One Bureau.

To access these contract boards, you'll need to finish the Zeroing In Main Quest to unlock them. Upon returning to the Harbiyah Bureau, Abu Jafar will grant you access to the contract boards.

To unlock The Traitor from the contracts board, you'll need to complete The Perfume Trader contract mission.

Once you complete that quest, you will receive a notification that a new contract is available to start at the Hidden One Bureaus.

Head to the Soap Boiler's District

AC Mirage - Head to the Soap Boiler
Make your way to the Soap Boiler's District in the Round City just south of the Quadrangle of the Persians.

Although the district is a restricted area, it has a relatively open layout with a lot of passer-bys roaming around so it's safer to scout the area on the rooftops.

Assassinate the Guards

AC Mirage - Assassinate the Guards

We recommend taking out the guards in the area since they will get in the way of your assassination. Fortunately, it's possible to lure out most of the guards onto the rooftops where you are less likely to get spotted by witnesses.

You can also put them to sleep with the Blowdart, although you'll need to get the Deep Slumber upgrade to ensure other guards don't wake them up.

Kill the Fire-Wielding Guard

AC Mirage - Kill the Fire-Wielding Guard

Make sure to take out the armored guard that can use ranged fire attacks as they can unintentionally set off the explosives in the area, preventing you from killing the Traitor with environmental damage.

Locate the Traitor

AC Mirage - Locate the Traitor

The Traitor is located in a small storehouse on the northwestern side of the area. Since the target doesn't move from his position, you can't track his location with Enkidu.

Instead, use Eagle Vision to scan the area. The Traitor will have an orange highlight, making him easier to spot.

Lure Out the Traitor

Head into the storeroom and kill the guard The Traitor is talking to and then lure him out of the storeroom.

You'll want to lure him into the soap-making area that has large red fire pots.

Kill the Traitor with Environmental Damage

AC Mirage - Kill the Traitor with Environmental Damage

Once the Traitor is close to the fire pots, use a Throwing Knife to detonate it and cause an explosion that will kill the target.

You can also drop a Smoke Bomb once the traitor is near a fire pot, then quickly use your Blowdart to put him to sleep so that he doesn't move away from the fire pot.

Note You can't carry the Traitor once he falls asleep, so make sure to put him to sleep near the fire pots.

Leave the Area

AC Mirage - Leave the Area

Once you kill the Traitor, simply leave the Soap Boiler's District to complete the contract mission.

65 Dirham

Completing the quest rewards 2 Merchant Favor Tokens, 45 Components, and a Rostam Outfit Schematic.

Successfully completing the optional contractor request will reward you an additional 2 Merchant Favor Tokens and 65 Dirham.
