How to Get Upgrade Materials

Loot Token Chests

You can get upgrade materials by looting chests. You'll get more bang for your buck by unlocking Token Chests using Favor Tokens since they contain a lot more materials in them!

How to Farm Favor Tokens

Complete Contracts

AC Mirage - Contract

You can also get upgrade materials by completing Contracts. These missions can be found on Contract Boards and completing one will reward you with items.

If you complete the mission while also doing the Contractor Request, you'll even get bonus items!

How to Use Upgrade Materials

Use For Upgrades

Leather and Steel Ingots are important in upgrading your arsenal. They can be used for Weapons, Outfits, and even Tool upgrades!

Doing so will make you more effective in combat, so don't throw your upgrade materials away.

Instead, you may want to visit a Blacksmith, a Tailor, or the Banu Musa brothers to upgrade your gear!
