Pickpocket NPCs with Gold Pouches

AC Mirage - Gold Glowing Pouches Offer Better Loot

The most convenient way to acquire Power Favor Tokens is via pickpocketing the many NPCs that roam the streets in game.

Use Eagle Vision to pick out the civilians with gold pouches. These pouches will most likely have more chances of containing expensive trade goods and Favor Tokens.

Make sure to also enable Guaranteed Pickpocket in the Gameplay Settings menu to skip the pickpocket quick-time event.

Pickpocket Between the Cartographer and Basra Gate

AC Mirage - Route Between the Cartographer and Basra Gate in Round City

The fastest way to get Power Favor Tokens is to pickpocket on the road between the Cartographer and Basra Gate in Round City.

Almost all civilians in this area carry gold pouches, so you will most likely obtain Power Favor Tokens. In addition, there is a bench near Basra Gate which you can use to pass time and reset civilians.

Hire Mercenaries

Power Favor Tokens can be spent to hire mercenary groups to skirmish enemy NPCs. They offer a distraction opportunity allowing you to sneak in a restricted area.

Paying for mercenaries 5 times gives you the Patron of the Sell-Swords achievement.

Some guards can be bribed with a Power Favor Token. This allows you to sneak inside a restricted area as they will look the other way.

Power Favor Tokens can be paid to the Munadi scattered throughout Baghdad to lower your notoriety level.
