All Outfits: Perks and How to Get
The criteria for our Best Outfits Tier List focuses on the outfit's utility during Stealth, Exploration, and efficiency during Combat.
We also take into account the usefulness of each outfit's Perk and how viable they are during gameplay.
Initiate of Alamut Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Silent Blade Enemies hear less noise from Basim during assassination. |
Description | The outfit of an initiate of the Hidden Ones. |
The Initiate of Alamut Outfit is the first outfit you'll receive at the start of the game and is our pick for best outfit in the game. When fully upgraded, this outfit reduces the sound of Basim's assassination by 100%.
The game has many ways to reduce movement noise such as hiding in bushes and flower beds, which means this outfit's Silent Blade perk has more utility during assassinations since there is no other way to reduce assassination noise.
As a result, this outfit is best for assassinations in relatively open areas where you don't have the time to hide bodies. Additionally, the Initiate of Alamut Outfit's schematic upgrades are available from increasing your Assassin Rank which is done by simply progressing the main missions as oppossed to finding the schematics around the map.
How to Get the Initiate of Alamut Outfit
Rostam Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Sound of Silence Enemies hear less noise emitted by Basim while moving |
Description | The outfit of a legendary hero. |
The Rostam Outfit is our pick for second best outfit in the game, only losing out to the Initiate of Alamut Outfit since it doesn't reduce assassination noise. Additionally, it requires completing the Marked Coins contract mission, which requires some progression in the main quest to start.
This outfit, however, is the superior choice in missions that require sneaking and infiltrating but are restricted from killing such as during certain contract missions that have contractor requests.
Finally, the Rostam Outfit requires you to complete more contract missions for its upgrade schematics which means it may take a while for you to fully benefit from its 100% noise reduction when moving.
Hidden One Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Deadly Moment Focus Chunks fill more when performing Stealth kills |
Description | The outfit of a Hidden One. |
The Hidden One Outfit lags behind at third best outfit since its perk, Deadly Movement, is only useable once you finish the First Order main mission that unlocks the Assassin's Focus skill.
This outfit refills your focus chunks whenever you make a stealth kill, allowing you to reliably spam Assassin's Focus to clear groups of enemies. While this is great during assassination missions and combat, it's less useful just sneaking around and exploring the world.
You also need to constantly assassinate targets to refill focus chunks, which is less useful during contract missions that have requests that you don't kill any enemies.

Zanj Uprising Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Infamous Reduces the impact of illegal actions on Basim’s notoriety. |
Description | The outfit of Zanj rebel. |
The Zanj Uprising Outfit is top of the A rank in our tier list thanks to its Infamous perk reducing the impact of Basim's illegal actions, such as pickpocketing NPCs. It's also available relatively early in the game as soon as you reach Baghdad and explore the Harbiyah section of the map.
This is the best outfit if you're planning a farming run for Dirham, trinkets, and Favor Tokens, and has a niche when assassinating targets in the open since its perk also lowers the impact of getting caught killing.
The outfit's lack of combat utility and the fact that you need to search the map for upgrade schematics lowers its overall utility, but is a solid choice for general exploration.

Abbasid Knight Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Lick Your Wounds Basim regenerates health every 2 seconds while unseen, up to 50% of maximum health. |
Description | The outfit of an Abbasid Knight. |
The Abbasid Knight Outfit is obtainable as soon as you arrive in Baghdad and loot the First Gear chest in Karkh. This outfit causes Basim to regenerate health every 2 seconds when unseen up to 50% of maximum health.
This outfit is a solid choice for general exploration and combat since it allows you to conserve elixirs and stay healthy as long as you hide from enemies. However, it loses its niche when infiltrating restricted areas where it's difficult to hide due to densely packed enemies or lack of hiding places.
The Lick Your Wounds perk also only heals up to 50% of your maximum health, which means it doesn't fully replenish Basim's health.
How to Get the Abbasid Knight Outfit
Milad's Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Forgotten Terror Successful Air Assassinations set off a flash of lightning to disorient bystanders within a 15m radius. |
Description | Unseen Isu energies overwhelm the weak-minded. |
Milad's Outfit is a legendary outfit obtained after collecting 10 Mysterious Shards and completing The Calling quest, and is the only outfit that is fully upgraded when obtained. When performing an air assassination, a flash of lightning erupts from Basim which disorients nearby enemies within a 15m radious.
While the outfit is flashy and visually impressive, its Forgotten Terror perk is only useful in locations that actually allow you to air assassinate. This means the outfit is almost useless as soon as you jump down from your vantage point after air assassinating a target.
The outfit also requires significant game progression to unlock, requiring you to finish The Calling quest and collect 5 Mysterious Shards to loot the outfit from the Ancient Place.

Sand Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Second Chance Once during a conflict, Basim can survive a lethal hit and slow down time. |
Description | Light extravagant fabric moves with fluid grace. |
The Sand Outfit is a DLC outfit that you can get for free if you pre-ordered the game, but is still obtainable by purchasing it from the Animus Store for $9.99. This outfit allows Basim to survive a lethal hit and slows down time once during conflict.
While the outfit is a nice throwback to the Prince of Persia games, the usability of its perk Second Chance drops once you engage in combat with more than one enemy. Solitary enemies often call for backup unless assassinated, further limiting the usefulness of the set.
Finally, the outfit requires you to take a lethal blow to activate its perk which means you'll have to go out of your way to get hit. The outfit is an okay choice for combat if you got it for free by pre-ordering, but isn't worth the $9.99 otherwise.
Jinn Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Lasting Curse Afflictions applied to enemies last 100% longer. |
Description | Fear and sickness spread from ancient evils. |
The Jinn Outfit is a DLC outfit that you can purchase from the Animus Store for $9.99. Its Lasting Curse perk causes afflictions applied to enemies to last 100% longer.
The combat applications of this outfit is a bit limited and is only useful if you consistently use tool upgrades that inflict status conditions, such as the Throwing Knife's Poison upgrade or the Blowdart's Sleep upgrade.
Even if you do employ these tool upgrades, the outfit is not worth the $9.99 price tag since the base duration of these status conditions is already long enough for you to assassinate the target or flee from the scene.
Fire Demon Outfit Overview | |
---|---|
Perk |
Incinerate Sets the target on fire after a successful assassination and burns the body away after a short delay. |
Description | Fire demons consume corpses slain by flame. |
The Fire Demon Outfit is a DLC outfit that you can purchase from the Animus Store for $14.99. Its Incinerate perk sets targets on fire and burns away their body after a successful assassination.
Although the perk seems useful at first, the Corrode Body upgrade for Throwing Knives achieves the same effect and you can do it in range. The effect also only works when assassinating an enemy, which is only useful if you can't hide the body or don't want to take out the other patrolling enemies in the area.
Even with its limited utility, the outfit is not worth the $14.99 price tag if purchasing just for the outfit's perk.
