1. Speak with Ali at the Gate
Speak with Ali at the Sharqiyah Gate, the location will be marked on your map and Ali will also have a mark on your HUD.
2. Follow Ali to Jarjaraya
After speaking to Ali, he will ask you to follow him to Jarjaraya.
For an easier time, simply use the follow road prompt, then follow quest objective; this will automatically cause Basim's mount to follow Ali without controlling it.
3. Speak to Ali
Speak to Ali and he will give you a tip for gathering information in the teahouse. Simply follow the map marker and use your eagle vision to reveal the clues.
4. Investigate the Teahouse

| 1 |  Bribe the Elder for information. You can either pay with 1 Merchant Favor token, or offer the Brick of Tea found on the roof of the teahouse building. |
| 2 |  Speak to the drunk civillian found at the back of the teahouse for information. If you use your eagle vision, the man will glow orange while lying down. |
| 3 |  Speak to the Tea House Owner. The owner will only be a few steps away from the elder, and will only call Basim when he's done speaking to the drunk and the elder. |
The Teahouse owner concludes the investigation by confirming that slaves are disappearing in Jarjaraya and asks you to help a widowed slave who lost her husband and son.
5. Return to Ali
Basim will debrief Ali and Beshi about the information he received, and Ali will ask you to tail an informant.
6. Tail the Informant
It needs to be daytime in your game world to tail the informant. Follow the map marker during the day and use Enkidu to specify the location of the informant.
Start tailing the informant by sitting on the nearby bench and eavesdropping, then start following the informant when he moves.
While tailing the informant, we recommend climbing to the top of the buildings to lessen the chances of being seen.

7. Pickpocket the Soldier
After eavesdropping on the informant, you will need to pickpocket the soldier to gather information about the missing slaves.
Part 1 of The Hunter ends here, and there will be a forced quest switch to Like Father, Like Son before you're able to progress to The Hunter Part 2.

1. Speak to Ali
Return to Ali's hideout where he was initially interrogating a captured enemy.
Ali will then instruct Basim to rescue some his men who have been captured.
2. Rescue The Captured Rebels
Follow the objective marker to reach Dogan's Farm, where the captured rebels are being held captive.
To progress this segment of the mission, Basim must free some men trapped inside a cage, and also untie the Zanj Woman's son, who will be tied up on the second floor of a nearby hovel.
3. Regroup With Ali and The Rebels
Once both parties have been rescued, Basim will remark about meeting up with Ali.
Head towards the objective marker to find Ali and a group of his men preparing for a raid. Speaking to Ali will initate a raid on Dogan.
4. Follow Ali
Follow Ali and his band of rebels as he gives out a speech during your march towards Dogan's home.
5. Kill Dogan and His Guards
Eventually, Ali and his men will begin to sprint towards an estate. Follow Ali and his men into the fray as they engage Dogan and his guards in the courtyard.
Kill all the enemies in the vicinity to progress this portion of the mission.
6. Speak to Ali
Once Dogan and his guards lay dead, speak to Ali near the front door of Dogan's estate to complete this mission.
