How to Get Dur-Kurigalzu Gear Chest

1. Dive Down from the Viewpoint

Fast travel to Dur-Kurigalzu so you will appear right on top of the viewpoint. Perform a leap of faith to dive down underneath the hole in the area.

If you have not synchronized this viewpoint, you can climb down from the large hole in the area.

2. Defeat the Enemies in the Area

Make sure to defeat all the enemies in the rooms. This will allow you to pick up the fire pot later on.

3. Pick Up the Fire Pot

Use Eagle Vision to find the fire pot in area. You can pick up and move to the room with the rock wall.

4. Throw the Fire Pot at the Rock Wall

Use Eagle Vision to find the room with the rock wall. Destructible objects such as the rock wall are highlighted with a red glow.

Throw the fire pot and uncover the new area.

5. Open the Gear Chest at the Center of the Room

The next room contains the gear chest located on the ground floor. The area is surrounded by guards, so make sure to take out the archer on the second floor before defeating the ones on the ground floor.

Hidden One Dagger or Its Upgrades

The rewards of Dur-Kurigalzu Gear Chest are related to the Hidden One Dagger.

Depending on the order you opened Dur-Kurigalzu, Water Mill, and Anbar Winter Palace gear chests in the Wilderness, it can either be the Hidden One Dagger itself or its upgrade schematics.
