Mysterious Shards are collectible items in Assassin's Creed Mirage (AC Mirage) that can be exchanged for the Legendary Isu gear. Read on to see the locations for all 10 mysterious shards per region, how to get the Mysterious Shards, and as well as their rewards!

Mysterious Shards are collectibles that you can get from the black robed NPCs called Tha'abeen. These are elite members of the Order of the Ancients and are usually accompanied by one or two guards.
The Tha'abeen are also classified as guards as they will investigate the area if you pickpocket a civilian and will respond to a Horn Bearer's call.
Note that the area around the Tha'abeen is considered a restricted area. If there are guards nearby, they will become suspicious if you run up to them or run past them.
Note that some specified locations may vary since Mysterious Shards are found on Tha'abeen that roam around in set areas.

The Tha'abeen in this area is protected by a single guard. Make sure to assassinate the guard first before pickpocketing the Mysterious Shard.
This Tha'abeen member may occasionally roam near large bushes which you can hide to kill the Order member without being spotted.
The Tha'abeen in this area is protected by two guards and roams around the upper part of the Harbiyah region.
The easiest way to pickpocket the Mysterious Shard from the Order member is to throw a Smoke Bomb near them and grab the shard before the smoke dissipates.
If the Tha'abeen is at the market stalls, you can throw a Throwing Knife at the spice bag to achieve the same distraction effect as the Smoke Bomb.

The Tha'abeen in this area is not accompanied by any guards so you can easily pickpocket the Mysterious Shard from her without being spotted.
If the Tha'abeen is sitting down on a bench at the Four Markets, you can hit the spice bag next to her as a distraction opportunity to get the Mysterious Shard.
The Tha'abeen is accompanied by a single guard in this area and both travel on the border between Abbasiyah and Karkh regions. The Order member has no guards with her so you can simply pickpocket the Mysterious Shard without being spotted.

The Tha'abeen has one guard accompanying them as they roam around the House of Poulterers.
They may stop around the corner of the Tax Collector's Mansion as part of their patrolling route. You can break the fire pot nearby to kill both of them and loot the Mysterious Shard from the Tha'abeen.
The Tha'abeen in this area roams around the area between the Al-Mi'dhana Al-'Ateeqa, The Great Garrison, Sharqiyah Gate, and the Confiscation Warehouse.
The Tha'abeen has no guards with her so you can pickpocket the Mysterious Shard and move away before she calls the guards to investigate.

The Tha'abeen in the Residental District is accompanied by two guards and roams around past the street where you can find the Cartographer and the area around the Harem building.
The easiest way to pickpocket the Mysterious Shard is wait until they listen to the Munadi in the area. Blend in with the crowd and pickpocket the shard.
The Tha'abeen in this district has a single guard with him and roams around near the viewpoint and the Postal Bureau.
Once they walk near the Postal Bureau, find the bench nearby and whistle over the Tha'abeen for a stealth assassination. The guard will not notice this action so you can loot the Mysterious Shard without being detected.

You can find the Tha'abeen and his two guards roaming around Basim's hideout and the city's viewpoint.
You can wait until the Order member stands next to a hay cart and assassinate him while inside the cart. The two guards will be looking in the other direction so this counts as a stealth kill.
The Tha'abeen in this area is accompanied by a horn bearer and a captain, making it difficulty to pickpocket the Mysterious Shard without alerting either of the two guards.
The best way to get the shard is to wait until they roam near the countryside. Hide under the tall bushes and whistle over each guard to assasinate them one by one.

After collecting Mysterious Shards, you can head to the underwater chamber in the Northern Oasis as part of the Case Nehal's Calling. Traverse through the caverns until you reach the chamber mechanism.
There are 3 rewards you can get from the Mysterious Shards; the Armor Milad's Outfit which costs 5 Mysterious Shards, the fully upgraded Sword Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar costing 3 Mysterious Shards, and the fully upgraded Dagger The Samsaama.
How to Get Legendary Isu Weapons and Armor Set
The best way to get the Mysterious Shard from the Tha'abeen is to pickpocket it. Find the black robed NPC in the area or use Eagle Vision and find red glowing figure that has the Mysterious Shard icon above their head.
You can throw a Smoke Bomb near them and pickpocket the collectible before the smoke disappears. Alternatively, you can use a Scholar Favor Token to hire a musician to distract them and prevent them from moving to their preset route.
You can also simply assassinate the Tha'abeen and loot the Mysterious Shard from their body. Note that this method increases your Notoriety level as most of the Tha'abeen are located in public areas so civilians will report you to the guards for committing a crime.
To start collecting Mysterious Shards, you need to trigger the Case Nehal's Calling (or The Calling). To start this Case, you need to complete the previous Case My Old Home and the quest Old Wounds.
