Press the X Button on the Xbox and Square Button on the Playstation to dodge. You can use this to dodge an enemy's attack.
You can press the dodge button two times to perform a roll. This action is helpful to put out fires but it is not recommended to use for combat as it consumes more stamina than a dodge.
Note that dodge reduces a part of your stamina to prevent you from spamming it. You can parry an enemy's attack to replenish this meter.
How to Parry and Deflect Enemy Attacks
When an enemy is about to attack, they will glow with a specific color to indicate the type of attack that they will use.
If an enemy emits a yellow glow, this means that they will perform a light attack that can be dodged or parried.
On the other hand, if the enemy emit a red glow, they will use a heavy attack. Heavy attacks cannot be parried and you can only dodge away to avoid it.
