Effects and Description
An alchemical vial that releases a thick cloud of smoke that obscures vision. Smoke can be modified for attack or defense.

Vanish from Detection
Throwing a smoke bomb on enemies will cause them to stop briefly and lose sight of you. This can also happen when you go into the smoke itself, since it obstructs vision of your enemies.
Instant Kill Within the Smoke
Rather than engaging in combat, the smoke bomb allows you to assassinate enemies within the smoke, killing them instantly.
Turn Into a Lethal Weapon
The non-lethal smoke bomb can be turned into a weapon with the right tier upgrades.
Choking Fumes creates a toxic cloud when the smoke bomb is thrown, damaging enemies within the smoke. Flammable Smoke ignites the smoke it produces when it comes into contact with nearby flames.
How to Unlock Smoke Bomb
Talk to Ibn Musa
Tools can be unlocked by interacting with Ibn Musa at any Hidden Ones' Bureau.
You'll be able to unlock a tool after finishing the Branching Out mission after assassinating Al-Ghul during the First Order.
The next unlocks are after unlocking Extra Tool Capacity 1, 2, and 3 respectively under the Trickster skills tree.

Increases the distance you can throw this tool by 7 meters. |
Durable Smoke
Increases how long smoke remains active. |
Extended Range allows you throw the smoke bomb farther, creating more distance between you and your enemies.
Tier 2 - Silent Blast

Healing Vapor
Recovers some of Basim's health if he is inside the smoke. |
Choking Fumes
Damages enemies caught in the smoke. |
Enemies in close proximity will not hear if you throw a smoke bomb with Silent Blast selected, making your stealth route quieter than ever.
Tier 3 - Mindwipe

Causes guards caught in the smoke to forget they saw Basim. |
Flammable Smoke
Smoke ingnites if in contact with flames, setting everything within it on fire. |
Mindwipe is incredibly useful if guards are chasing you because those caught inside the smoke will forget that they saw you, resetting their alert level.
Smoke Bomb All Upgrades
Head over to a Banu Musa brother and give them the required materials to unlock an upgrade tier.
Once the tier has been unlocked, you can choose any upgrade from the tier to set it as active.
Tier 1 Upgrades
You can unlock Tier 1 Upgrades of your Smoke Bomb by spending x15 Steel Ingots, x35 Leather, and x60 Components.
