When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Brave Baldr are +Spd and -Res. Even though Atk is a superboon, Baldr needs the Spd more to improve her Spd checks as well as keep up with the fast metagame units in the highly contested base 48 Spd tier. Without sufficient investment, Baldr will struggle against faster units.
Brave Baldr's Res is her least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane as it won't impact her matchups.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Brave Baldr up to +10 for similar reasons above.

Using Emblem Celica Ring, Brave Baldr can extend her range to be a threat against more foes. With her ability to be a Blue or Green unit on-demand, Baldr makes for a great offensive option.

Brave Baldr is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Brave Baldr's exclusive weapon Truth Seeker neutralizes her flying weakness and grants her +1 movement at the start of each turn.
At the start of player and enemy phase, Truth Seeker grants Brave Baldr a 50% damage reduction piercing effect and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack to Baldr and her nearby allies.
In combat, Truth Seeker grants Brave Baldr up to Atk/Spd/Def/Res+14, up to +25 bonus true damage based on Bonuses and Penalties, true damage reduction equal to 20% of her Spd if she has weapon-triangle disadvantage (and 50% of her Spd otherwise), a similar true damage reductione effect against foe's special attacks, and neutralizes her foe's bonus Special cooldown charge effects.
More importantly, Truth Seeker allows Baldr to use Weapon Triangle: Green Style, which turns her into a green unit for the current attack. She can be either Blue or Green on-demand, allowing her to maximize her weapon-triangle related skills and be a menace against most foes.
Brave Baldr is built to exploit the weapon triangle and is a fantastic unit to have for offensive strategies.
Brave Baldr's exclusive A skill Heaven's Stead grants her 【Canto (Rem.; Min 1)】 and inflicts 【Triangle Adept】 and 【Exposure】 on the closest foes to Baldr and foes within 2 spaces of the target foe(s) at the start of each turn.
In combat, Heaven's Stead grants Brave Baldr Atk/Spd/Def/Res+9, +7 bonus true damage, +7 bonus true damage reduction from her foe's first attack, a Null Follow-Up effect, and a brave effect if Baldr has weapon-triangle advantage or her foe has the 【Exposure】 status.
Heaven's Stead further aids Brave Baldr's niche of exploting weapon-triangle advantage and grants her the stats and effects she needs to excel in combat.
