| What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Great offensive free-to-play unit. ・Serving Knife+ grants Finn an extra action after using a Rally or movement Assist, grants Special charges per attack and 【Incited】 to Finn, ally, and allies within 2 spaces of both Finn and ally after using a Rally or movement Assist, grants Finn bonus stats and true damage during combat. |
|
Might: 14 Range: 1 If a Rally or movement Assist skill is used by unit, grants another action to unit (once per turn; if another effect that grants action to unit has been activated at the same time, this effect is also considered to have been triggered). If a Rally or movement Assist skill is used by unit or targets unit, grants 【Incited】 and "Special cooldown charge +1 per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack)" to allies within 2 spaces of both unit and target ally or unit and targeting ally after movement for 1 turn (including unit and target). If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and unit deals +X × 5 damage during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials; X = number of Bonus effects active on unit, excluding stat bonuses + number of Penalty effects active on foe, excluding stat penalties; max 5). |
|
Range: 1 Push adjacent ally 1 space farther away. |
|
If unit or foe initiates combat after moving to a different space, grants bonus to unit's Spd/Def during combat = X + 5. (X = number of spaces moved by whoever initiated combat; max 3.) |
|
If a movement Assist skill (like Reposition, Shove, Pivot, etc.) is used by unit or targets unit, inflicts Spd/Def -6 on nearest foes within 4 spaces of both unit and target through their next actions. |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Tea Finn will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Tea Finn are +Spd and -Res. Tea Finn has base 46 Spd which is raised to base 49 after a Spd boon. While this isn't enough to outspeed the fastest metagame units, it is enough to prevent their follow-up attacks.
Additionally, due to his lack of exclusive skills, Tea Finn will be completely reliant on his stats to remain competitive against modern invested units.
With only base 19 Res, Tea Finn's Res is a clear dump stat and can be safely taken as a bane as it won't impact any of his matchups.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Tea Finn up to +10 to ensure he prevents follow-up attacks from the fastest metagame foes.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Tea Finn is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Tea Finn's inheritable weapon Serving Knife+ grants him an extra action whenever he uses a Rally or movement Assist, and grants 【Incited】 and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack
to himself, his ally, and all allies within 2 spaces of himself and the target ally whenever he uses or is the target of a Rally or movement Assist.
In combat, Serving Knife+ grants Tea Finn Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 and up to +25 bonus true damage (based on Bonuses on her and Penalties on his foe). The bonus true damage is powerful for an inheritable weapon and allows Finn to be somewhat effective against metagame tank units while being strong enough to dent non-tank units.
Tea Finn suffers from not having any unique skills to call his own, making him unable to stand out amongst other units.
Sword Cavalry units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Tea Finn replaceable by better units.
Tea Finn takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
| Should You Unlock Potential for this Hero? |
|
|---|
We recommend that you use Unlock Potential to bring Finn - Devoted Service from 4 Stars to 5 Stars. Finn - Devoted Service is very useful as a fast sword cavalry, so you may find using Unlock Potential on Finn - Devoted Service helpful if your team lacks a party member with this role.

Tea Finn has Serving Knife+, Spd/Def Clash 3, and Spd/Def Snag 3 as inheritable options.
Serving Knife+ is his only good skill to inherit, but it is good enough to be inherited onto your favorite units if they don't have good weapons.
