When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Miriel are +Spd and -Def. Miriel's base Spd of 40 is quite high compared to other units in the game, and it's a Superboon as well. Her Spd should be boosted as much as possible to guarantee follow-up attacks.
Miriel's Def is quite low at base 25, and lowering it should not change most of her matchups, especially with her also low base 37 HP. Thus Def is safe to take as a bane.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Miriel to +10 for the same reasons mentioned above. Her Spd needs to be boosted as much as possible.

Miriel is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Miriel easily doubles and defeats the Sword Cavalier with Blárlion+.
Miriel comes with the inheritable blue tome Blárlion+.
It grants Atk+6 at the start of the turn to adjacent allies, and grants Miriel an Atk/Res+5 boost during combat if her foe's HP ≥ 75%.
Proper positioning will maximize this weapon!
Miriel comes with the skills Atk/Spd Ideal 3 and Spd/Res Link 3.
While the conditions of Ideal skills are usually hard to meet without investment, Miriel's Spd/Res Link 3 ensures that you can use Draw Back to guarantee Atk/Spd+5 at the very least.
When playing Miriel defensively, ensure that you use Draw Back to trigger Spd/Res Link 3 and meet the check for Atk/Spd Ideal 3!
Miriel's base HP and Def are quite low at base 37 and 25 respectively.
In today's metagame, it'll only take one physical attack to bring her down.
Keep her away from foes that inflict physical damage to maximize her potential!
