How to Beat Octorok
Octorok can be defeated by repelling the rocks it spits with a Shield Bash. You can also use the Slingshot and strike it after stunning it.

Octoroks are ranged enemies that will burrow under grass or rock when approached. They continuously shoot rocks to you, which you can repel or deflect.

Use your Shield to parry back

From afar, when it fires its rock attack, use Shield Bash at the precise moment by pressing your L-Stick.

How to Equip and Use A Shield

Stun with Slingshot

Octorok - slingshot
Use Slingshot to stun it from afar. The Octorok will be dazed and you can use your swords to defeat it without it burrowing.
