The February 2026 Spotlight Banners have officially been announced. The month starts off with a character rerun banner where everyone is a rate-up. This means you can select any currently released Umamusume of your choice after 200 pulls, which is a steep price. However, reruns like this are very rare outside of paid selector tickets, so you can use this chance to pick any Umamusume you want.
This month also has the arrival of Mihono Bourbon's Valentine's alt, who is a very good Front Runner and is much easier to train compared to her base version. The Sakura Bakushin O Guts SSR is an interesting pick for Front and Pace Sprinters due to its good rare skill and easy Groundwork, but isn't really a must-have. Outside of these, most of the banners are a skip due to the new scenario expected to arrive in March 2026. This includes Riko Kashimoto SSR, whose value will diminish if you're training outside the Unity Cup.

The New Beginnings event continues into February 2026. This should include the additional log-in bonuses that were originally announced and the Grow Up and Shine! song. Paid banners featuring all the released characters and supports will also be available during this period.

The Capricorn Cup will be held from February 9 to 19, 2026. It is a Sprint race based on the Takamatsunomiya Kinen.

Since the race parameters are fixed, you can start preparing a team of three Veteran Umamusume to compete in the Champions Meeting. It's best to train with the new Unity Cup scenario.

A Valentine-themed Story Event, called The Peak of Confection, will be available from Feburary 18, 2026 (UTC) and will run until March 1, 2026. The event will have bonuses for Mihono Bourbon, Eishin Flash, Nishino Flower, Sakura Bakushin O, and Tosen Jordan. An event Speed SSR for Tosen Jordan will also be available as a reward.

A new set of Legend Races based on the Hanshin Juvenile Fillies will run from Feburary 26 to March 7, 2026. You'll be able to obtain star pieces for Hishi Amazon (Azure Amazon), Mejiro Dober (Off the Line), and Gold City (Authentic / 1928) by participating.

A new event, Racing Carnival, is arriving in February 2026. This event lets you run difficult races against specific Umamusume to gain Carnival Points. Trainees will also gain an event skill called Carnival Bonus that increases your point gain. Use these points to redeem Uncap Shards and Gacha Tickets.
While it isn't on the official calendar, we estimate this will run from February 5 to 12 (UTC) based on the original Japanese release lining up with the rerun banner dates.
