Players can opt to skip cutscenes and get right into a mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Read on to learn how to skip cutscene and how to replay them.

How to Skip Cutscenes

Press and Hold to Skip

Modern Warfare 2 - Fill progress circle

To skip cutscenes, simply hold down the corresponding key on whichever platform you're using. You should see a Skip Cutscene on the bottom right of the screen. Hold the button until the progress circle is complete.

Should You Skip Cutscenes?

While cutscenes give more context on what to expect in a mission, it varies with each player on how much details they want to know about MW2's storyline.

Watching every single cutscene isn't necessary to understand the story since the characters you play constantly have conversations with the NPCs. Players can listen in on the conversations and it's usually enough to understand what's happening in the game.
