★ How to Get Weapon Cases
Test Drive is an obtainable achievement during the Violence and Timing mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (MW2). Read on for a complete list of vehicle types during the mission as well as how to drive 5 different types to get the achievement!
List of Contents
Objective/s | Drive five different vehicle types in Violence and Timing. |
---|---|
Mission | Violence and Timing |
1 | After cutting yourself loose, hijack either the Pickup Truck to your right or the Cargo Truck you're on top of. |
---|---|
2 | After hijacking your first vehicle, look to the right. There should be an SUV or Minivan you can board. Approach it and go to a complete stop before boarding the SUV or Minivan (if you don't stop, you'll die after exiting the first vehicle). |
3 | Next, catch up to either the Cargo Truck or Pickup Truck that you didn't take during Step 1 and hijack it. This brings your total number of vehicle types to 3. |
4 | After the hijack animation completes, immediately look for another Cargo Truck, but this time aim for the one with no tarp covering for its cargo bed. Board it to get your vehicles types up to 4. |
5 | Finally, look for the TAC-V - an armored car that usually has an armored soldier popping out of it. Kill the soldier and hijack it. This should complete the achievement, Test Drive. |

In Violence and Timing, players can exit their vehicles as long as you do so while at a full stop. This is particularly useful if you want to ride the many SUVs and Minivans found at the side of the roads. However, do note that if you are not at a full stop before exiting, you will die no matter how slow your vehicle was going.
The mine sequence presents its own brand of chaos compared to the high-speed chases of the other segments in this level. To ensure that you have an easier time during the mine sequence, try to complete Test Drive before it happens so you can focus on dodging the explosive mines.
Boarding the APC during the final stages of the mission will not count towards the achievement. Make sure you already have Test Drive completed before this sequence otherwise there will be no more opportunities to hijack after the APC blows up.
As for most of the achievements, playing on Recruit will be the way to go. In Test Drive, given the amount of things that can kill you (at higher difficulties) as well as a conflicting challenge that has you only use 1 vehicle until you reach Price, we recommend finishing this challenge on Recruit then simply re-doing the mission on a higher difficulty if you choose.
