How to Use Sting Shard

Set Traps for Airborne Enemies

The Sting Shard is an excellent weapon that allows Hornet to set traps. These traps have several properties, which make it an incredibly versatile tool that players can get early on.

When you activate the Sting Shard, Hornet will throw the tool out horizontally. It will suspend itself in the air before priming after a few seconds.

Detonates when Enemies Touch It

When an enemy touches a primed Sting Shard, it will detonate. This will extend the spikes into a large AoE, lingering and dealing several instances of damage to enemies.

Fires Needles when Hit

When Hornet or an enemy hits the Sting Shard, it will shoot its spikes out, dealing damage to enemies caught in its path. This deals less damage than the detonation, but can be beneficial in gauntlets when enemies are far apart.
