Charting the Depths Walkthrough

It is recommended to bring a Survey Probe Launcher to make scanning the Deep Desert easier. Bring sufficient Survey Probes to reveal the map.
Charting the Depths Objectives
1. Locate an Imperial Testing Station
2. Locate a Shipwreck
3. Locate a Control Point

1. Locate an Imperial Testing Station

Deep Desert Testing Station

Imperial Testing Stations are easily located in PvE sectors (Sector A to the former half of Sector E). Exploring these sectors will narrow down your search, making it easier to complete the objective.

These Testing Stations function similarly to non-Deep Desert Imperial Testing Stations, albeit at a higher level of difficulty. Be prepared for enemies to have stronger gear, and also be ready to fight other players in PvP areas.

2. Locate a Shipwreck

Shipwreck in Deep Desert

Shipwrecks are found across the entire Deep Desert. In our team's experience, shipwrecks are easier to spot in PvP areas (the Latter Half of Sector E to I) as there are very few rock formations to hide them.

However, it is still possible to find them in earlier sectors. It is also easy to spot them in the overworld, as these wrecks tend to stand out from the landscape.

3. Locate a Control Point

Control Point in Deep Desert

Control Points are more commonly found in PvP areas (the Latter Half of Sector E to I) as they are strictly tied to Landsraad PvP activities. They are likely to be found beside Shipwrecks in PvP sectors.

These points are tied to specific houses, and will have tasks that are linked to their capture progress.
