1. Talk to Zantara

Speak to Zantara and Enter the Proteus

To take the first step into Arrakis, make your way through the cave you start in and speak to Zantara outside. He will have you cooperate with him to escape the Sardaukar by activating the Captain's Transmitter in the Proteus.

From Zantara, head towards the Proteus wreck. In front of the wreck is a corpse by a flashing light; pick up a Cutteray from it. Then, use the Cutteray's Analysis Mode to see where you need to shoot, and fire at the line.

2. Escape the Enclosure

Defeat Enemies and Find the Key
Proceed with the Cutteray until you find enemies. Use the Scrap Metal Knife to defeat them by following the combat tutorials on screen. Then, continue until you defeat the third enemy to find the Pentashield Wristband Key.

Activate the Captain
With the Pentashield Wristband Key, pass through the barriers to reach the Captain's room. Approach the corpse, then interact with the terminal to trigger a cutscene and end the first quest of the game.
