The Heavy Metal Hole is located to the East of the Buccanham region. The Heavy Metal Hole is where Dinky Dell and the Den of the Dwarves are located. To proceed further into the cave, you will need to talk to the the dwarves and the Foreman inside after following the questline at Buccanham Palace.

The Beacon is located to the North of the Buccanham region. You will need to go here after collecting a phial of prism dew for the Buccanham region story. The Beacon consists of 5 Levels, and a Top Level where there is a statue and a story boss.

Changing difficulty to Easy Going not only makes battles easier, but it increases EXP gained by 1.5 times. This makes farming for effective for both EXP and Vocational Proficiency.

Change the Battle Speed to Ultra-Fast to speed up battles and save you time.

Unlike other enemies, the Metal Slime family cannot be encountered in the overworld. Instead, they appear as extra enemies in a line-up during an encounter, so try not to skip any battles.
Ruff's Whistle instantly puts the party in an encounter. This is a much quicker than manually running into enemies in the world, especially if your party is overlevelled and can KO enemies with your Field Strikes.

Use Vocational skills like Knuckle Sandwich and Fatal Flash that could induce critical hits to defeat Liquid Metal Slime.
You should also use equipment like the Hammerhood Heart to boost a party member's critical hit rate by 10%.
Capitalize on skills like A Cut Above that can strike a single enemy multiple time in a turn. Metal Slimes are known to be very elusive and don't take a lot of damage, so you need to defeat them as quick as possible before they escape.

Metal Slime Weapons such as the Metal Slime Sword are designed specifically to be effective against Metal Slimes. They not only significantly increase your attack, it also deals an extra point of damage against Metal Slime monsters.
The Metal Slime Sword can be obtained as a prize from the Lucky Panel at Pilgrim's Rest.

The Dragster Heart, when equipped, guarantees that the user will always start first during battle. You can obtain this monster heart by defeating the Dragster Menacing Monster located to the Northwest of Aeolus Vale (Present).

The Dragster Menacing Monster can be located in present day Aeolus Vale later in the game. It is located at the end of the upper left path before the Aeolus Vale village

The Seed of Resilience can permanently increase a party member's resilience. Seeds can be usually obtained from defeating enemies, opening treasure chests, or quest rewards.
