Use Leg Sweep
Using either Ruff or Hero as a Martial Artist, you can use Leg Sweep to knock down the Mighty Pip.
Doing so allows you to waste one of its turns, effectively lowering the damage The Mighty Pip deals to the party.
How to Learn Leg Sweep and Effects
Reduce Accuracy with Dazzle
With Maribel played as a Mage, she gains access to Dazzle, which can lower accuracy.
This becomes extremely effective against The Mighty Pip, since he uses skills that deal damage multiple times.
How to Learn Dazzle and Effects
Use Ruff as Support
With Ruff as a Priest, he can be played as a support to buff the party's defenses and provide healing.
Cycle between healing and buffing your team to keep the party alive, allowing Hero and Maribel to deal damage without having to worry about dying.
