Menacing, or Vicious, Monsters are more powerful versions of the regular enemies you come across on your travels. They're similar to bosses in that they are one time fights, and cannot be fought again once defeated.

Hammerhood Monster Heart
Whenever you defeat a Menacing Monster, they will drop their respective Monster Heart. These are powerful accessories that grant unique effects that represent that monster.
