Pray to an Angel Statue

Before Boss FIght

Saving your game in DQ7 Reimagined can be done by praying to an Angel Statue. Interacting with one allows you to manually save your current progress and serve as a spawn point for when you die in battle.

In addition to saving, Angel Statues also fully restore your party’s HP and MP and perform Divination, which shows how much experience each party member needs to reach their next level.

Confess at a Church

The game can also be saved by talking to a priest in a church and selecting the Confession option. This method functions similarly to Angel Statues, allowing you to secure progress while providing a safe spot in towns.

In addition to saving, churches can remove poison and lift curses from party members.

Autosave Feature

The game also includes an autosave system that records progress at certain points during gameplay. Autosaves can help prevent major progress loss, but they should not be relied on as a replacement for manual saves.

Angel Statues are commonly found near the entrances of dungeons. This allows players to prepare and save before exploring the areas or progressing the story.

Before Major Boss Fights

Angel Statues are also frequently placed before major boss encounters, giving players a chance to save before challenging battles. This ensures you can retry difficult fights without losing significant progress.

If you spot an Angel Statue, it’s usually a sign that a tough encounter is coming up.
