Characters can get worked up by being in combat. As long as you keep on attacking, using skills, and taking damage, the chances of a character getting worked up increases.
Once a character gets worked up, a prompt will be shown, with the character radiating a blue aura.

Worked Up has different effects based on vocation, with each vocation likely having a different trigger condition.
As of the Demo, there is no confirmed method to trigger Worked Up outside of just remaining in combat.

Once a character is Worked Up, they will remain Worked Up for a few turns.
Since Worked Up remains active for a few turns, you can choose to activate it during a different turn to receive buffs fist from other characters.
If the Worked Up status triggers towards the end of a battle, it will remain active during the start of the next battle.
Keep in mind that Worked Up only remains for a few turns, resulting in a shorter duration if it carries over.
