How to Beat The Almighty and The Spirits

How to Beat The Almighty and The Spirits

The Almighty and The Spirits is the optional post game final boss-fight in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined (DQ7). See how to beat this boss, recommended equipment for the fight, and the boss' information here.

How to Beat The Almighty and The Spirits

Focus Wind Spirit First

Focus Wind Spirit

The Wind Spirit should be prioritized, since if it is absorbed by The Almighty, she will grant the Almighty an Echo, causing his skills to cast twice.

Defeating the Wind Spirit and any other Spirit before The Almighty tethers the spirits to him ensures that they do not get absorbed.

Stock up on Healing Items

Multiheal

The Almighty and The Spirits all have skills that deal heavy damage, and inflict a variety of debuffs and status effects.

To ensure that the party survives throughout the fight, make sure to stock up on items that recover HP, MP, heal Status Effects, and Revive fallen members, on top of having designated supports in the party.

List of All Usable Items

Defeat All the Spirits First

Prioritizing the Almighty during this fight is highly discouraged, since the Spirits can revive him if the Almighty is defeated before the Spirits.

Ideally, defeating the Wind Spirit and Fire Spirit before the Almighty can tether the spirits to him is the best approach, taking away all the offensive buffs from being absorbed.
