Glowering Inferno is a boss encountered in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined (DQ7). See how to beat this boss, recommended equipment for the fight, and the boss' information here.
List of Contents

Glowering Inferno capitalizes on itself having high HP and Attack, and does not summon allies, unlike other bosses.
Since the boss is alone, use Single-Target high damage skills such as Kiefer's Cutting Edge and Helm Splitter.

Despite having an Elemental advantage with Aqua Slash, using Hero to buff Kiefer and Maribel is still optimal, due to Aqua Slash's low damage output.
Use Hero's Buff and Heal to allow Kiefer and Maribel to focus on dealing damage, without having to worry about losing too much HP.

Once Glowering Inferno becomes enraged and uses its Let Loose ability, it's AoE Attacks can deal high amounts of damage, which can knock out your party if left unchecked.
Try to use Hero's Let Loose ability often to give your party a shield, allowing Hero to prioritize Buff skills over healing. Hero can also cast Hornpipe on himself to further increase the trigger chance of Work Up, giving you more turns with a free shield.
