Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined creates periodic autosaves whenever you enter or exit a location from the overworld map. This appears in the form of a yellow feather on the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Make sure that you do not quit the game when the game is autosaving to prevent losing game progress.

Can You Turn Off Autosave?

No Option to Turn Off Autosave

There is no option to turn off autosave in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined. If you want to make a manual save, you can visit a church in a town or an angel statue to save your progress.
