After completing the Buccanham (Past) main storyline, the Battle Arena becomes available in Buccanham (Present).
The bosses in this section are fought by selecting the Bronze Cup category from the Battle Arena menu.
How to Beat the Bronze Cup
Use the Hero to Fight
The Bronze Cup is best cleared using the Hero. By the time the arena unlocks, the Hero can equip strong hero-exclusive gear such as the Sea Serpent Sabre, allowing for higher and more consistent damage compared to other party members.
Since this is a one-on-one format, maximizing the Hero’s offensive potential is the most efficient strategy.
Focus on Pure Offense
Winning the Bronze Cup needs you to prioritize attacking every turn. Your HP and MP are fully restored before each battle, so there’s no need to conserve resources.
Instead of playing defensively, aim to defeat each opponent as quickly as possible to maintain momentum.
Avoid Healing and Buffing
Healing and buff spells are generally unnecessary in the Bronze Cup. Any buffs you apply will be removed before the next match begins, making them inefficient for back-to-back fights.
Since your HP resets after each battle, it’s better to spend your turns dealing damage rather than setting up temporary enhancements and heals.

Even though offense is important, equipping armor with high defensive stats helps reduce incoming damage during one-on-one encounters. Increasing your survivability ensures you can continue attacking without interruption.
