You can receive a small package of Fish Bits from your mother, Pearl, during the Prologue. To get the Fish Bits, simply speak to Pearl after Maribel joins you but before arriving at Estard. Pearl will remark on your relationship with Maribel and hand you some Fish Bits to bring with you.
You can then give the Fish Bits to the chef in Estard Castle for a small reward of 30 Gold. The Fish Bits are classified as an Important Item, but are not listed in the full list of important items, making them entirely optional for collectors.

An old man in the basement storehouse of Estard Castle will remark that he's missing his spectacles.
You can find the spectacles inside a nearby barrel, and they'll enter your inventory as an accessory called Wrecked Specs. You can speak to the old man to return the spectacles, but you can also keep them to wear. These have no beneficial stats when worn, however, and are not required to complete the item collection.

During your adventure in Ballymolloy, you'll be able to give Patrick the Wooden Doll. Your first choice whether or not to give the Doll to Patrick will affect the outcome of the quest, as well as its rewards.
Should You Give the Wooden Doll to Patrick?

The Seed of Resilience that Patrick gives can be Missable if you accept the wooden doll from Patrick before returning home.
Seeds of Resilience, however, can be obtained through other means, with this choice potentially locking you out of one of many Seeds of Resiliences only.
When and Who Should Use Seeds?
After completing Emberdale (Past), you can trigger the Little Blue Button event by speaking to the child in northeast Emberdale (Present).
If you progress too far in the main story, the child disappears and the event becomes unavailable. Completing the event rewards you with a Seed of Life.

| Good Ending | ・ The truth about the village is preserved ・The monument changes in the present ・ You receive Pretty Betsy |
|---|---|
| Bad Ending | ・The stone tablet is destroyed ・ The false history remains ・No additional reward |
In Vogograd, you must decide whether to return the stone tablet to the elder in the past or present.
Giving it to the elder in the past leads to a more positive outcome and rewards you with Pretty Betsy. Giving it to the present mayor results in the tablet being destroyed and locks you out of that reward.

| Yes | ・ Wiggles helps protect the town ・Nottagen survives in the present ・Recommended outcome |
|---|---|
| No | ・Nottagen is destroyed in the present ・ Some items and a trophy become unobtainable |
If you repeatedly choose “Yes” during dialogue, you will fight Wiggles. Defeating Wiggles results in Nottagen’s destruction in the present timeline.
Choosing “No,” or losing the battle, allows the town to be restored. Some items, except for the Mini Medal and the trophy, Worst. Town. Ever., become missable when the town turns into ruins.

| Let Him Join | ・Joins as a fifth support member ・ Participates in the final boss battle ・ Unlocks additional epilogue scene |
|---|---|
| Don't Let Him Join | ・Final dungeon cleared with four members ・ No additional epilogue event |
During the Ragol event, you can decide whether to bring Kiefer into the final dungeon. If you choose to bring Kiefer, he will assist during the final dungeon and appear in the final boss fight. An additional epilogue event also becomes available.
Declining means proceeding with a standard four-member party and missing the extra story content.

The Journal from the menu provides a recap for the Main Story and Sub-Stories, but only in written form.
Once you complete a quest, the only way to replay it is to load an earlier save file.

The Hero’s name can only be changed by switching the system language.
Loading a save file in a different language forces the game to prompt you to rename the Hero, making this the only method to change the name after starting.

Common dialogue choices with various NPCs and party members are usually irrelevant, as they end with the same outcome.
The important Dialogue Choices are usually found within quests, and will usually ask for confirmation to signify that this choice has weight.

Unlike previous versions, missing Mini Medals does not permanently lock you out of collecting them all. You can still complete the Mini Medal collection later.
All 100 Mini Medal Locations and Rewards

The Sullied Sanctum disappears after completing Aeolus Vale’s storyline.
However, all treasure chests from this area can later be accessed in La Bravoure. You cannot obtain duplicate items, as the chest contents are linked.

The Ultimate Key can first be obtained in the Cathedral of Light.
If missed, it can later be acquired in the Cathedral of Blight, so it is not permanently missable.
How to Get the Ultimate Key and Effects

In the reimagined version, Kiefer temporarily leaves the party midway through the story.
Any Seeds used on him are automatically refunded when he departs. Unlike the original version of the game, you do not permanently lose stat-boosting items used on him.
Kiefer Profile and Voice Actors
All Characters and Equipment in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined can be obtained through various means, leaving nothing to be permanently missable.
