Find and Collect Tablet Fragments
Dragon Quest 7's story revolves around assembling tablets and travelling to islands in the past. Make sure that you explore every new area you visit so that you can collect new tablet fragments and unlock new islands to travel to.
Save Seeds for Later
Like other main-line Dragon Quest games, you will come across stat-boosting seeds that you can use to make your party members stronger. It's recommended to save these first and only use them in the late game once your character builds have been optimized.

Adjust Difficulty Settings
Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined allows you to tweak multiple settings to adjust the game's difficulty level. If you're having a hard time or if you want to breeze through a section where you're over-levelled, you can adjust the difficulty to make the game less frustrating to deal with.

Understand Character Stats
There are a ton of different stats in Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, and it can be confusing if you're not sure what each stat does. It's highly recommended to take some time to understand how each stat affects a character, so you don't mix up stats like Agility and Deftness, for example.

Don't Speed Through Dialogue Choices
While most dialogue options have no effect, some choices can grant you bonuses if you pick the correct responses. Make sure that you take time to read and select the best possible options instead of just mashing to get through a cutscene.
Choose Your Beginner Vocations Wisely
Upon completing the events at Alltrades Abbey and obtaining the Career Sphere, you can start switching to another vocation entirely.
It is best to note that your stats and skills will reset after choosing your first Beginner Vocation. Choose the vocation that best fits all your party members.
Collect All Keys
You can find keys used to unlock chests scattered throughout the world. It's important to collect these immediately, not to be barred from progressing the story or exploration.

Level Up and Earn EXP
EXP is required for you to level up and defeat stronger bosses and seemingly difficult enemies. Metal Slimes are rare enemies that can give you abundant EXP once defeated.
Play the Lucky Panel Minigame
The Lucky Panel unlocks as soon as you get to Pilgrim's Perdition in the Alltrades Abbey Region.
You can earn rewards from Lucky Panels by flipping two matching cards with the same image. The better you score, the better the rewards.

Collect Mini Medals
After speaking with the Attendant in Estard Castle for the first time, she will hand you a Medal Handbook, which shows the areas where you can find Mini Medals.
These medals can be exchanged for amazing prizes with the attendant upon reaching certain milestones.
