Aim for High Damage Per Turn
The Road of Regal Wretches is significantly more demanding than the standard Battle Arena and Rampage Roads. Each challenge expects you to output extremely high damage per turn, especially in The Original Demon where consistent 6000 damage per turn becomes the benchmark.
If your party struggles to meet this threshold, consider optimizing your equipment, upgrading weapons, and choosing the correct skills before attempting a clear.
Use Buffs and Debuffs Strategically
Unlike the other arena modes where pure offense is enough, these battles require proper setup. Defensive buffs such as Magic Barrier are essential to reduce incoming spell damage, while skills like Divine Intervention help weaken enemy resistances and improve your overall damage output.

Use Pass the Torch Effectively
The Hero remains the centerpiece of your damage output in this mode. Using Pass the Torch to allow the Hero to act offensively twice can significantly increase burst potential..
Proper timing of this skill helps maintain momentum and keeps you within stricter turn requirements for better rewards.
Build Team Around Enemy Weakness
Elemental optimization becomes crucial in later challenges. Thunder-based AoE skills such as Kazap or Gigagash, perform well against multiple enemies, while equipping Ice-resistant armor such as the Ice Shield, helps mitigate heavy spell damage in The Lord of Darkness fight.

Longer encounters can quickly snowball if your HP dips too low. Equipping monster hearts such as Swagman Heart for automatic HP recovery or Very Devil Heart for MP, provides passive sustain without sacrificing offensive turns.
This allows you to maintain pressure while still surviving high burst damage from bosses.
Level Up Your Party and Vocations
All Road of Regal Wretches enemies heavily punish underleveled players and incomplete vocations. If you find yourself repeatedly losing or barely clearing fights, it usually means your level or vocation mastery is lacking.
Using a fully maxed vocation gives access to stronger skills that shorten battles, which is crucial as enemy durability and damage increase in higher tiers.

The Road of Regal Wretches automatically becomes available in Buccanham (Present) once you complete its main storyline in the past.
