How to Beat Rashers and Stripes
First Fight Cannot be Won
The first time Rashers and Stripes are encountered, they cannot be defeated as part of the story.
Losing to Rashers and Stripes will allow them to take the party to the Jail, where the story will resume.
Use Items to Recover HP and MP
Once you go up against Rashers and Stripes, you will be unable to use Skills.
During this time, use Items instead to recover HP and MP for the party, ideally during Maribel's turn.
Defeat Stripes First
In order to maximize your success chance, try to defeat Stripes first, since he is able to deal much more damage with critical hits.
Knives and Eustace will also temporarily join your party, dealing additional damage to make up for the lack of skills during this fight.
