Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined will be released on February 5, 2026, except for Digital Deluxe editions that have a two-day Early Access! However, if you're playing on Steam, then the game's release will be delayed when compared to the other versions.
As a note, the console and Deluxe edition timers are set to midnight EST, and the game's release time may differ depending on the region and platform that you're on.

DQ7R Demo is Available to Play
If you're not sure which version of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined to get, you can play the demo first to experience the prologue of the game. You can then transfer over your demo save to the full version of the game once it comes out.

Midnight Local Time on Consoles
If you're looking to play Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined on consoles, such as the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and the Nintendo Switch 2, then you can expect it to release on February 5, 2026, at midnight in your region.
Do note, however, that only the release date was announced, and it is only assumed that the game will be released at midnight local time.

As for players who wish to play the game on PC, then the game will be released later when compared to other platforms.
