All versions of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined are now out on consoles as of February 5, 2026! However, if you're playing the non-Deluxe version on Steam, then you will still need to wait for 1 pm EST for the game to be released.

As a note, the console release timer is set to midnight EST, and the game might not yet be out depending on the location that you live in.

If you're not sure which version of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined to get, you can play the demo first to experience the prologue of the game. You can then transfer over your demo save to the full version of the game once it comes out.

If you're looking to play Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined on consoles, such as the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and the Nintendo Switch 2, then you can expect it to release on February 5, 2026, at midnight in your region.

Do note, however, that only the release date was announced, and it is only assumed that the game will be released at midnight local time.

As for players who wish to play the game on PC, then the game will be released later when compared to other platforms.
